As you will know, last night myself and Christian were up in London at the Conservative National Excellence awards. I'm very, very pleased to say that we have returned and in my bag is a award and plaque signed and presented by a certain Mr Cameron - we have been victorious! This is a really great moment for Exeter - it brings us even more recognition from London of our work and will hopefully assist us further with getting support from Central Office. This award belongs to all of us, and it's a testament to the effort and ability each of you put in that we have won it, and I want to thank you all very much. I will of course bring the award to the next meeting, which I suggest we make not tomorrow, but the following Wednesday at three. However I will be up in Devonshire House with the award from just before 3-4.30 ish if you'd like to see it today! I'm attempting to get it put up in the Guild. Which should be fun. Exeter CF - No longer just probably the best CF in the country. The best.
