Treasurer

Hello All,
I am currently a second year law student here at the University of Exeter, and I am the new treasurer for the Conservative Future here. Carrying on with the good work of the previous committee I am looking at restoring the society to its once former glory.

As with any treasurer, my first committee responsibility is to the money and making sure that the society is able to finance and fund what they want and get up back in the black. But equally, my job ensures making sure that we stick by the rules outlined by the Students’ Guild and, by working within these rules – make sure we get the most possible from the membership money.

Just like the previous treasurer I anticipate working closely with the social secretary to make sure that the big events which the society put on don’t cost our members too much, but equally we get as much as we possibly can. But even without this, just ticking over week-by-week, I hope to keep everyone fully informed of what we can (and sadly, sometimes, cannot) afford.
