Heya everyone,
I'm a second year Law and Sociology student here at the University and I've been a Tory for years. I'm very politically active and it’s my absolute pleasure to take over the position of Deputy Chairman for EUCF.
My role here over the next year will be a mainly supportive role, ensuring that the Chairman has the ability to make EUCF the best it can be, increasing our membership and our activity levels. My main focus for the year apart from this, however, will be CPF – the Conservative Policy Forum that we have recently set up on campus. This is something I am very passionate about as I believe that everyone who works so hard for the party at grass-roots level should be able to have a strong voice and influence the direction of our party which this allows us to do. The fact that we can influence the 2015 Manifesto through our own opinions is hugely empowering and I want to allow our members to make the most of this fantastic opportunity.
I also have a very local focus as I am a local council candidate here in Exeter and I live here full time, not just term-time, meaning that I truly resent this tiny patch of red we live in surrounded by the sea of Tory blue covering the rest of the area.
If you want to chat about anything Tory or want to get more involved with CPF then please drop me an email on: natalie.cox@exetercf.co.uk!
Much Tory Love
